  • I recently paid a visit to McEwan as I wanted to see first hand what all the hype was about. Having dined at One, North 44 and Terra (which was previously co-owned by McEwan) my husband and I have always enjoyed the quality of the food, the service, and "everything McEwan". I must say that McEwan Gourmet Grocery Story did not disappoint me. There is a wide variety of prepared foods, which I pre-ordered and picked up for a big event at our home. The food was really delicious and our guests loved everything we served. So I would definitely recommend this market for the gourmet prepared foods, and even for the produce section which is fresh. I would not however recommend it for some of the packaged products. For example Starbucks ground coffee which sells for $7.99 at Loblaws, is $9.49 at McEwan. That is a huge mark-up and you can get many of these products at my cheaper prices elsewhere.
