I finally got a chance to eat here, as it's been so busy since opening that it was a bit overwhelming. I had lunch with a friend. I ordered a daily special. Bakery-made pita stuffed with chicken livers and chicken meat with a sort of 'curry coleslaw'. It was divine! My mouth was very happy. I couldn't stop moaning in pleasure. I only meant to eat 1/2 the pita, but I couldn't wait and ate it all in one go while it was still warm and delicious.
My friend said her pizza slice and cake was also great. I've also tried their whole wheat sour dough bread (8/10), brownie (10/10 if you like a ganache-style treat), and cheese stick (10/10 - flaky and flavourful). My only beef is that it's a bit on the expensive side, which means I can't go as often as I'd like to.
Food - 10/10
Service - 10/10 - friendly and helpful
Atmosphere - 7/10 - busy (sometimes too much for me, but fun to eat at the bar and watch the goings-on in the bakery). Sitting outside on a nice day would make for fun people-watching.
Question: Why don't people eat more chicken liver? When prepared right they are awesome.
