BBQ, a very unique experience, it is a truly American culinary art form that is diverse and has just as diverse group of passionate followers.
I would classify Honey Bears BBQ as awesome, in the wet BBQ mop using kind of BBQ. If your perfect BBQ is a good dry rub BBQ brisket, or rack of ribs, you may want to skip. However, if you are an individual who can enjoy the goodness of a pulled pork sandwich with a generous pool of their mostly sweet with a bit of spice/vinegar BBQ sauce, this could be your place.
I love Honey Bears, it reminds me of a BBQ stand at a country fair that didn't leave town when the fair moved on. You walk right up to the window order your BBQ they give you a cup to fill with soda and a number that they will call out over a intercom.
It is not somewhere you take some one to "wine and dine" but it is a great place to grab a sandwich with a friend. And do not skip out on the peach cobbler, very sweet and filled with tasty peaches you will not be disappointed.
