Contacted them for a showing of a very beautiful house that meets all my criteria -- sadly they require I sign an agreement that I cannot make any disparaging comments about them and if I do, they can give me 72 hours to remove the comments or I have to pay a fine. Disparaging is defined by the person who is offended, so it seems possible I could give a fair review and have to remove my comments. Say perhaps I had a mixed experience and I wanted to point out the good and the bad parts of my experience. They could force me to remove my review or get fined if I sign that agreement -- WHICH I HAVE TO SIGN JUST TO VIEW THE HOUSE. Wow. this does not inspire my confidence as a tenant. I'd rather rent a lesser house and keep freedom of speech. :-( I see that they have many bad reviews, so maybe they instituted this to keep off bad reviews -- but maybe it's better to keep from getting bad reviews by being a good business partner. This statement I have to sign makes me wonder about the 5 star reviews that they have gotten lately-- are they real or were they coerced or bribed into making positive statements? I would like to believe in them, but I cannot.
