| - Really, really enjoyed this location, one of my favorites so far in the valley!! All staff is extremely kind and super helpful with all questions. Seems like everyone really enjoys being there.
Your entry into the location at the door begins your escape experience. You must find your way in through the "dry cleaners" entryway which is fun from the get go! A nice surprise!
As a team of 4 we have done 4 rooms now. We enjoyed all 4 but our favorites were without a doubt Red Riding Hood and The Cabin. All rooms are multi room (progressive style) with a variety of puzzle types and difficulty variations. Will review each room from least favorite to most favorite.
Double Crossed: This room except for ONE puzzle is actually fairly easy and straightforward with a bit of thought. Good idea for groups with beginners and still just as fun with a multi stage design and few hidden 'wow' factors. Be careful to look and feel around EVERYWHERE if you are feeling stuck. You may have missed some secret hiding spots! There was one puzzle involving handcuffs that we felt was a bit misleading. It is a variation of a classic escape room puzzle design with a new twist but unfortunately the design is a bit messy and the answer is NOT readily available so be careful here. It may be worth using your clue on this one before you waste too much of your valuable minutes solving it. The rest of the room was excellent. Great balance of prop vs clue design and use of the theme. We enjoyed the beginning "separation" aspect that encourages your team to really work together. Certainly creates moments of fun dialogue for your team.
Sabotage: This is their newest room with a "CIA" operatives/military type theme. This room is very difficult in places, particularly the first room due to the confusing nature of all the material. There are many, many props in this rooms that have potential clues on or in them which we found out were almost all decoy/prop pieces. We spent too much time overthinking in this room and lost a lot of time here. Once you move on to the next few rooms you will find it a bit easier if you are careful, but each puzzle was still fairly tricky. Great use of the theme, and incorporation of returning to previous rooms to piece some things together. Still great fun and excellent design but felt this one was awfully tricky given the amount of decoy material in first room and not recommended for beginners. Needed to use several clues just to get through the first part. Don't let yourself get stuck trying to decipher clues that are just props here, move on to another piece.
Red Riding Hood: has one puzzle that is challenging if you aren't careful and miss the clue but relatively speaking it was pretty easy for groups that have done numerous rooms before, just took time on some of the puzzles, not necessarily super critical thinking skills. Regardless of difficulty we LOVED the design of this room. Unique feel and theme, several unique puzzles, and great decor. If you want to challenge yourself more (i wish we had more faith in ourselves and done so) you can do this with the lights OFF and only a flashlight for a more challenging experience.
The Cabin: This is without a doubt the most immersive, interactive experience at this location and in the top 3 in Las Vegas for such. A great adrenaline room with a "creepy" feel to it. Once inside the cabin you definitely start second guessing if anyone is out on the porch watching you in the dark! Great lighting, sound effects and decor. Really truly felt like you were in a creepy cabin in the woods. Be careful to really check in, under, above, around everything here or you may miss a couple clues! Do NOT overthink the puzzles. There is one in particular that will trip you up if you try to overthink it too much. Great multi room design, excellent use of props and some unique puzzles within. Only a few "lock and key" based puzzles which makes it new and fresh. Easy enough to finish within the hour if you are experienced at escape rooms and extremely thrilling, but may be too challenging for first timers because there is so much in the cabin room you may get yourself lost. Definitely go with a few who have experience to help you along. LOVED this room!!!
A nice addition to the group picture stage after you have successfully completed your room in the hour is the use of prop boards with fun things written on them. Makes it a fun final experience.
Excited to come back and try Anonymous Hacker Case when that room is ready!
