My only gripe is that when I finally decided to go to the gym after a few months of paying $17.95 for Gold status, I wanted to upgrade my tier to Gold Plus. Apparently if you need to upgrade or downgrade, you need to pay a $20 fee to adjust your account and I had to immediately start paying the $24.95 rate for Gold Plus instead of the promotional rate. At that point I didn't feel like fighting and I should've just had my account upgraded in the first place but it is pretty lame. Then at the end of the year, you have to pay another $40 fee to keep your rates low all year again.
I'm not a person who normally goes to the gym, so I really have nothing to compare this place to. The gym is very clean and well maintained. I appreciate people wiping down the machines after they're done with their workout. As everyone likes to point out, this gym is insanely busy. Parking is usually a bit of a struggle, but then again, it's a gym, so why not take the extra walk?
I love how this place has a cinema. I always forget my headphones so watching a movie completely distracts me from staring at the time or miles on the machine I'm working on. I'm a cardio person so I never have any issues with finding a machine or an alternative. So I'm glad I don't share the same pain as the other people waiting in line for everything else.
I've been forcing myself to take the classes and it's awesome that I can always bring a friend and there's no limit like other gyms. I've been getting my ass kicked in every type of class that they offer and I wish I had more free time to opt in for more. Just like the gym itself, the classes get insanely packed as well but as long as you are on time, you will always have a spot.
The gym is just down the street from me so I will definitely keep going. Hopefully they decide to build another EOS gym nearby to alleviate the pressure here.
