I've recently rediscovered this place after visiting it a couple of times when I was a teenager. I didn't think much of this place back then as I treat it like another normal bakery, but my mom convinced me to return here after discovering they have the large version of lo mai gai! I love those things, especially when they're the large size (i.e: not the ones you get in supermarkets).
In addition to lo mai gai, they have a respectable selection of buns. Their curry beef bun is one of their staple products, and their pineapple buns are also very tasty. They also have an eat-in area if you want to sit in and order some drinks, but I opted against it as I simply purchased buns for the current work week. Besides, you can't eat a lo mai gai if it's not steamed, and I thought they have the equipment to inside anyway.
If the parking situation on weekends isn't as dire as it is today, I would be fine coming here for my bakery needs. I tend to frequent New Kennedy Square more, as I usually have brunch there in the first place. Usually if I find out my parents are nearby, I do tell them to stop by and purchase some lo mai gai for me!
