  • This bookstore has the potential to be a very quaint, ornate bookstore reminiscent to those that I have been to numerously on streets of Nottinghill. However the atmosphere was quickly ruined by the owner. I was immediately put off this bookstore by the patronizing nature of the proprietor who, upon me entering, asked me what I wanted. When I replied it was to browse. He retorted stating "You don't browse here...you buy" Perhaps I had caught him on a bad day. Perhaps he thought I had other intentions. Whatever the case, as a business owner, one cannot afford to treat costumers that way. I may be young however I do not deserve the lack of respect he showed me. I will not return to this store and will not recommend it. All I can say is the business has wonderful potential and should perhaps consider changing their staff.
