  • Rick Chavez has a few favorite trees at the Moonvalley Nursery on Tatum. And he's my new favorite landscape expert. I popped over there to buy a blue pot. He patiently went through several, lifting a few from the back corners of the pot piles, placing others side-by-side for easy color comparison, even double checking pricing until I very happily found just the right two. I am left inspired to plant trees after an impromptu tour of some of the beautiful trees on the property. Rick is an easily approached expert I know I will be consulting again as we design our landscaping.
