| - I've done a few Las Vegas buffets before and on this trip to Vegas, my girlfriend and I decided we wanted to do one buffet as well, so we chose Bacchanal since neither of us had been there before. We chose to do brunch, as this was during the Christmas holidays and dinner was rather expensive ($65 I think). Brunch was not cheap either, at $53/person.
We arrived around 11am and were seated quite promptly with no wait. This was during a weekday though, so your experience may vary. My favorite were the snow crab legs (I guess King Crab is only for dinner?), they were juicy and sweet, and cut apart so all you had to do was pry the meat out. The crab claws were done in a similar fashion, allowing for easy access to huge chunks of meat.
The carving station was a sight to behold, with prime rib, beef ribs, turkey, lamb, and the best: smoked brisket. That brisket was fantastic. It was some of the best brisket I've had, and I've had BBQ in Kansas City and Austin before! Beyond that, the selections were varied and apart from a few misses, everything was good. Their sushi is absolutely mediocre though, and that was a disappointment. The dessert station is great, with lots of options and a crepe station as well, so make sure you leave room for dessert. They also have a juice bar available in the buffet section, with bottled fresh pressed juice (pineapple, watermelon, cucumber, orange, green). The green juice was fairly good (cucumber, kale, and ginger) and I figured it was a good way to "stay healthy" while consuming all the other rich foods (sarcasm). They offer a full complement of tea/coffee/pop as well, and have a fantastic peach ice tea available to order.
This is one of the best buffets I've ever been to, and the service was great. Just don't forget to leave a tip for your server when you leave, I saw a lot of people leaving without placing a tip on the table.
