| - This is the latest restaurant renovation inside the Orleans. It's an upscale bar / restaurant with modern industrial style in the menu that has enough comfort food to be good, enough twists to be interesting, and not so pretentious or expensive that you wouldn't just drop in for lunch or dinner.
Loved the live music. They were very talented musicians, however if you want to have any kind of conversation, ask specifically for the dining room. If they put you in front of the stage, you won't be able to hear yourself talk.
The prices are solid mid-range. Everything we ordered was fresh, not just reheated frozen like at a chain restaurant. The portions were big, but other than a pile of pasta that we saw sailing by, nothing appeared to be overly supersized. The quality of food is excellent for the price.
We can also vouch that all the barrel aged cocktails are excellent, although each is distinctly different. The old fashioned was our favorite, and the Blood & Sand was a pleasant surprise. The Manhattan was also very good, it just happened to come in 3rd out of 3.
They had nice pool tables and sports screens everywhere. We were impressed enough to already talk about coming back.
Our server Ashley was excellent. From the initial drinks through appetizers, dinner and dessert cocktails, she was great. Always there when we needed her, and didn't get in the way of our conversation.
