We had met Pastor Pete at a bridal show last year and confirmed him for our date on site. He put his number in his phone and we were set. We spoke with our venue in the early planning stages and confirmed that Pete would be there. 2 months before the wedding we sent Pete the questionnaire that he sent us. In the instructions it said he would contact us for a phone call to go over the ceremony. About a month before the ceremony I tried to email him to schedule the phone call. After a few days I hadn't heard from him and I called our venue to see if they could make contact. For 3 weeks leading up to our event we tried to get Pastor Pete to call us however we never spoke with him despite him telling the venue he had talked to us. 1 hour before our event we had to call elegant events to find out if he was still coming. They ended up sending a nice woman who showed up 15 minutes before our ceremony. Remember this is the first time speaking to anyone from elegant lighting. Luckily we had a back up plan and one of our guest performed our ceremony. We were lucky but elegant events could have ruined a large part of our night.
