I'm not sure what has happened to this place. Or actually, maybe I am. I can't say for sure, but I believe ownership changed several months back, and if so, it's obvious that the new owners are merely profit driven and not overly concerned with customer experience. I've stopped going entirely, as the prices are exorbitant for what you get and the service is often actively aggressive. There's nothing at all special about this place, and you can get relatively healthy/artisanal breakfast elsewhere and skip the snark often present at the Pekara counter.
