Just left The Cromwell and I can't rave enough about it! The hotel is wonderful and quickly became my favorite place to stay while visiting Vegas. Everything from check in to check out was perfect.
We checked in around 1:00 on Wednesday and I was happy that our room ready for us. We were offered Sangria which was delivered about 5 minutes after we got into our room. Mike our bellman was wonderful. He was very thorough in showing us around our room and all it had to offer. We had an amazing view of the strip and were on the 6th floor. I loved the sayings on the carpet in the hallways as well as the sayings in the time of the shower walls. We had a 2 queen luxury room and it truly left nothing to be desired. I especially loved the wood flooring. It ensures there is nothing gross in the carpets. ***Be mindful of the mirror in the room. If the lights are off in the room and someone is showering you can see into the shower.
I love the intimacy of the hotel. The security to the rooms is good as well. Location plays a great role in this hotel. It is located across the street from The Bellagio, Ceasars, as well as next door to The Linq. As a group of 20-30 somethings we love going to O'Sheas.
The hotel bar was nice with craft cocktails and appetizers from Giada's. We ordered the goat cheese stuffed peppers and they were great. Brian our bartender was great and made delicious drinks for us.
We did have dinner at Giada's. It was a nice atmosphere and good food, however, for some reason I felt a little underwhelmed. She is my favorite celebrity chef and I expected more food flavor and less of just seeing her name stamped on everything. The artichoke in risotto was a bit too much risotto and too little artichoke. I was disappointed. All in all I glad we dined there but I probably wouldn't go again.
If you are sick of walking a mile to get to your room in a large casino and enjoy good customer service than The Cromwell is your place. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to return!!
