Upon arrival the hotel did not look the same as it was depicted in the photos online. My check-in experience was okay although the guy at the front desk felt like he needed to repeat the same bit of information several times as if we didn't understand.
As we entered the room we were kind of expecting the worse, but to our surprise the room was decent. We pulled out the sofa bed to find no bedding. We asked the front desk to bring us the bedding for our child and was told to "come and get it." That was completely inconvient as we had already changed into our night clothes.
Next the toilet has issues! First we could not get the toilet to flush. We called the front desk and the same guy who couldn't bring use bedding for the sofa bed, showed up with a wrench to fix the toilet. Less than 5 minutes later the toilet was "fixed". We use the toilet again and now it's running. Smh, the damn thing ran all night long.
The TV remotes were dead but whatever I have an app on my phone to control the TV. This hotel has a lot of potential but there are things that need to be addressed. For example, our key cards stopped working after a long day. We go up to the front desk and instead of an apology, we a lecture on how to use the key cards and where to and not to take them!
The neighborhood is questionable at best! I wasn't too concerned about it because I'm a big guy who owns a security company and is permitted to carry a concealed weapon. I figured I'd mention the neighborhood for women who may be traveling alone and arrive during night time hours.
I would stay here again if all said issues are addressed and properly corrected. If it wasn't for the issues, I'd rate the hotel at 4 stars.
We extended our stay for another day and front desk manager wanted to send housekeeping to the room to vacuum and make up the beds. We left for the day, removing the "do not disturb" sign. We come back after being gone until 7:45 to find the room had not been cleaned as promised by front desk management.
Use caution when doing business here.
