  • My former self didn't live in this hood, and didn't quite get that the Pits are not the pits at all, this is a five star park. All the glory from my previous review remains true: waaaay fewer layabouts than Bellwoods, picnic zones, playgrounds, pool and the big ol' bowl. However, I forgot to mention a few other wonderful things: +Basketball courts +Community garden +Maple leafs baseball on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings +Pool water slide (OK, I mentioned this, but it's worth mentioning twice) Park it!
