  • I absolutely love Planet 21. Two reasons Sonshine and Ashley. Sonshine is one of the most talented stylists to ever cut my hair and she has an amazing personality too. She always listens to my requests and is honest about whether or not she thinks it will work with my face shape. I also have a bad habit of occasionally working on my bangs myself. Never once has she judged me. Ashley has colored my hair a couple times and is always very attentive to my wishes and is also very skilled at tailoring the hair color to my complexion. She too has a great attitude and a pleasant demeanor. She's also fantastic at getting the color right to your scalp so you don't leave with roots. I love that they use Wella color, it holds in my hair longer and doesn't fade the way a lot of other hair color does. I lived in Atlanta and Los Angeles prior to moving to Charlotte. These lovely ladies are easily on par with some of the best in both of those cities. I think they're prices are fairly competitive and actually better than some of the other salons I tried in Charlotte prior to finding them.
