There's a very nice man at the front desk who is single handedly trying to save this hotel from its pending demise. The pool and hot tub are great. The cookies are also amazing. The staff at the restaurant could care less if you are there or not. Took us over an hour to get our food when the place was nearly empty. Maybe they had to kill the cows for our burgers before cooking them? When we checked in they didn't have the room we had booked but the nice man at the desk, the one trying his best to save this hotel from certain death made it work for us. Unfortunately the pull out couch where my mom was staying had no sheets, pillows or blankets. We called the front desk twice and for some unknown reason 1 hour later a very nice security guard brought up a case-less pillow and no sheets. 30 min later he returned and Was unable to find a sheet for the bed. Very very nice man who made it work with a top sheet only. I am still unclear as to why the security guard is delivering pillows and why the hotel has hired its own security guard. SO strange place, probably wouldn't stay here again. Would never eat at the restaurant again but there are some very nice staff trying to make it work in a space that seems surprisingly underfunded even though it is one of corporate Americas largest hotel chains.
