Bought a groupon with boxgrove cleaners to have my wedding dress cleaned, preserved, and boxed for $139 (instead of $339). My dress came back 2 weeks later in beautiful condition. The woman at boxgrove cleaners also gave me a discount on the veil cleaning too. All in all a great experience. Only down side is she taxed me on the full price of the wedding dress cleaning ($339) instead of the discounted price I paid for the groupon ($139). Not sure if that's the correct practice for a groupon deal. Shouldn't I be taxed on the amount I actually paid?
