  • Scottsdale Shea is always our go to hospital and we live 20 minutes away. I've spent an insane amount of time here as I was inpatient for 11 weeks before the birth of my son and 4 days after. I've spent quite a bit of time in the ER with a rough pregnancy, 2 kids and a husband! I can hands down say that Shea saved not only my life on multiple occasions but my son's as well. The entire antepartum staff, perinatologists included, are heroes. The NICU staff is incredible and so sensitive. They put their all into caring for each infant and family. The food is actually pretty awesome and the entire hospital seems as though they truly want you to be as comfortable as possible. ER wait time has been reasonable in my experience. Of course there are those few off people...but overall I recommend this hospital if you or a loved one are unfortunate enough to need to go. Best wishes!
