Dogfather offers a reasonable selection of all things dog, catering mostly to smaller dogs, but the prices are high. It comes in useful for those special occasions when your four-legged friend simply must wear rhinestones and sleep on satin.
A cannot miss is their hilarious postcards, available at the front desk. They essentially summarize the insecurities of the fashionistas that shop for their dogs here- but I digress.
I take my dog to the groomer here because she is WONDERFUL - she really cares about her canine customers, and takes her time making the experience less stressful for them. She even taught me how to properly brush my dog, and gave me a hug on a later date when I returned with a mat-free pooch!
Even though my little pooch would rather eat vomit* then get groomed, she still gives her groomer kisses when it is all over with - and when was the last time you kissed your hairdresser?
So two stars for the store, and four stars for the groomer, and three overall.
*weelll, actually, she quite likes vomit - we find a lot of it around my neighbourhood on our Sunday morning walks. bleecch!!
