  • For having what I thought I needed, I give it a 5 star. When I went in 1 1/2 weeks ago to pick up the snow chains, that went without a hitch. I would have liked to have them show us how to put the chains on, but they didn't know how. We bought 2 sets of chains, which at $59.99/set seemed like a good price. Anyway, the day after we got them, my husband and I tried to install on our 2015 Taurus, the front wheels. Weather conditions were perfect. But, we just couldn't get the chain to link together. After 1/2 hr, we gave up. After our vacation, which is today, I tried to return to another Auto Zone that I was closer to, Arizona Avenue and Ray, but they would not accept the return and said I had to take it back to where I bought it. So I made the trek over to where I got it. Waited a short bit. Saw the guy that was the associate that helped me buy the chains the 1 1/2 weeks prior. He was helping someone else. The lady that helped me, shorter, younger Latino woman said I couldn't return snow chains and that it says so on the receipt. I told her the guy that sold me them, which I pointed to him, never said anything about that. Also, though I opened one set of chains, they were not used. The other set we never opened. The other taller, reddish hair Spanish speaking woman said to go ahead and process the refund. Thank you. I think her name begins with a S. After she gave the okay, everything went quickly and I go the receipt for the refund. Usually I get great service at any Auto Zone I go to, but today, people seemed a little off. However, since I usually always get great service, I'll give the benefit of the doubt.
