  • I took my dollhouse, which was a family heirloom, to Ruben 3 months ago to be fixed and restored for a Christmas gift for my family. He waited until the last day that he promised, December 15, to start the job. Not only did he not fix it but he managed to ruin the dollhouse, making the original issue that it was taken to him for worse. When I picked it up from him he actually told me he has a bad habit of making promises in which he cannot fulfill. Not only has this ruined the gift that I planned to present to my family for the holidays, but I now have to find someone who can fix the mess that this woodcrafter has created. If 3 months was not enough time for this woodcraftsman to do a job, there are some real issues. I absolutely would not recommend this business. For 3 months he had nothing but excuses and now has caused a lot of problems for me. Extremely sad.
