  • I had fusion L4 L5 with screws, spacer and a cage. This was only 15 days and for the first time in years, I am pain free. Thank you Dr. Justin Field from Desert Institute Spinal Center (DISC) Love the acronym. I am now walking five miles a day and in 13 days I will no longer need a back brace. After the surgery I found I gained almost an inch in height! My scoliosis was also much less visible. To have Dr. Field's hands and brain (and also good looks) is a gift to him from God and I am so happy that I can share this amazing doctor's skills with all of you who are considering spinal surgery. People told me before the surgery that I would be in agony and on opioids for weeks. NOT TRUE!! Don't listen to them. Use Dr. Field and look forward to a new you and a new, happy pain free life.
