  • I'm a former Extreme Fitness member (Vaughan and Richmond locations mostly) and I have been thoroughly impressed with LA Fitness during my 2 visits (so far). -Clean -All BRAND NEW equipment -All Cardio equipment has a TV and iOS/AUX connection -A LOT of equipment and most of it is doubled up (at the very least, often 3 or 4 pieces) -Not overly busy -Staff is not overly pushy like they were at other gyms -Locker rooms are immaculate -Weights are always on the rack and sorted in ascending and descending order based on their weight -Day Care available This particular location does not offer towel service and there aren't quite as many extra amenities as you would find at most Extreme Fitness locations (Steam Room, Cold Room, Juice Bar, Tanning Both, etc..) but it's core purpose is to be a gym, and in that regard, it far exceeds anything else I've seen before. This place is beautiful and very well maintained.
