"RATED #1 SHOW IN LAS VEGAS by the Las Vegas Review Journal" ...really?!
Is this the best show in Las Vegas? Sorry to say... it is NOT.
* * *
CONs:
--Small theater... the 90-minute show felt very compact & compressed.
--Phantom music & songs were sped up about 0.5 seconds faster than original broadcast versions. This sucks... because you cannot fully enjoy the music tracks!
--Few songs are missing from the show (i.e. Magic Lasso and parts of Don Juan).
--Could barely see and hear the monkey music box. Needs more spot lighting. In fact, the lighting of the whole show was poorly managed.
--There is no intermission. People were allowed to walk to-&-fro their seats during the show.
--Pyrotechnics were too much! Blinded my eyesight for a bit.
* * *
PROs:
--Chandelier in the beginning of the show was probably the coolest part of the show.
--Easy to find in the Venetian. Local discounted tickets available starting at $50 & up.

As you can see... the Cons outweigh the Pros.
SKIP this one! NOT the best show in Las Vegas.
SERVICE: *** [Fast & efficient. Easy to find. No line.]
AMBIANCE: ** [The stage/venue is too small which made the pyrotechnics way TOO BRIGHT!]
PRICE: [$78 for orchestra, that's the price even with a local discount]
OVERALL: [2-stars and a total disappointment for a person who's seen the Original broadcast of Phantom of the Opera, TWICE!!]
Rent the movie... it's much better than this show!
Nuff said.
