| - Right off the bat, let's get this clear: This is a review of Tempe Dodge's service department.
In case you're looking to either buy a car there or grab some parts, I will also throw in the following two sentences. In shopping for a vehicle, they are not the worst dealership I've ever been to, but the product knowledge on newer product lines (like Jeep) is limited and they're as much a no-haggle dealership as you can be without slapping NO HAGGLING ALLOWED in enormous red letters on your marketing. The parts department has a limited stock and is one of the more expensive dealerships I've dealt with.
Onward and upward, then! Servicing your vehicle here. Should you? I've been in several times and found them to be aboveboard and honest, and they turn repairs around in a timely fashion.
I've only had one instance that resulted in a go-back, and they were very apologetic and set things right quickly. Maintenance prices are also pretty good--in many cases, cheaper than independent garages.
On the downside, that parts department review? It hamstrings the service department. If it's not a maintenance part and doesn't belong to a Dodge truck, chances are good they're going to have to order it. Parts do get here quickly from LA, but I'm accustomed to dealers with a larger selection of on-hand parts.
Also be aware that while they advertise "weekend hours," they're only open 'til 3 on Saturdays.
