Booked an appointment online for a cut and style, went in today and the lady at the desk told me that I was five minutes late so they couldn't do my appointment (I was three minutes late since traffic was backed up from superstore to past the train station).
The lady said that they recommend calling I'm to book and not booking online, since online only books an appointment for 45mins and they need 60mins. The lady told that they'd only have 30mins to do my hair (she really didn't know math since it would have been 42mins) and no one was available...even though multiple workers were walking around without any clients.
She offered to book me in for tomorrow morning, but I have my university grad then, which is why I was getting my hair done in the first place. The end result was that they didn't have time for me, and apparently couldn't find time during the day to call me about coming in earlier or something. Regardless, my appointment was made and should have been kept, regardless of whether or not was late, would there have even been someone to do my hair had they had the three additional minutes? I don't think so.
I called the corporate office immediately after walking out of the salon and no one was available to listen to my complaint. The voicemail that I was connected to said that they were in the office but they missed my call and haven't called me back.
