  • Am so happy to have found this place! My beloved dog Mavi and I moved to Madison a year ago from NYC, where we had a wonderful in-home groomer. I searched long and hard for something similar in Madison, but found mostly places that were just out-of-the-question for an overprotective dog mom like myself (i.e. traditional set-ups where my dog would likely spend hours in a cage, and with many reviews speaking of pet injuries. I was even offering huge tips at one point for special treatment, but just got "can't do it, sorry" from the 20 or so groomers I contacted). So I let Mavi's fur grow super-long, tried and failed to cut it myself, and then drove back to NYC to see our groomer there. Our old groomer then found me Lis at Serenity Pet Spa!! Lis was wonderful with my fearful dog: reassuring, sweet, and gentle. She also accommodated my annoying special requests (I won't say what they were in case everyone asks!), which I greatly appreciated. Mavi was very happy and not at all traumatized. AND, she probably got the best haircut of her life!! She looks gorgeous, and has been getting tons of compliments :).
