  • To be completely honest, I am absolutely never one to complain about anything. But there are a few things that need to be said. I am so dissatisfied with the service that we have received here from management. The employees have been polite yes, but we have been SCREWED with our billing and it seems like every time we try and get in touch with a manager they're unavailable or they'll get back to us or we need to come back later. Janet was sweet and set my fiancé and I up with gym memberships at the beginning of February. The manager Anthony ended up coming over to help with the transaction, as my fiancé works for the city of North Las Vegas and received a promotional offer. We were told we had no initiation fee (which was the one thing that stayed true), but were also told we would only be charged for the first month, and not the last month. We signed up for a month-to-month plan. Janet told us we would only have to pay for first month, and then on march 4th our membership bill would be due for the month of march. With that being said, only TWO weeks later my card was hit with a $90 charge. We were very confused so we went into 24-hour to have someone explain why. We went up to the desk and were told that Anthony the manager was giving a gym tour to a family so they would take a message and have him call us. The people on the counter didn't know why we got charged, and said it was a question for management. Well....we never received any follow up that day, so we went in the following day. We spoke to a woman at the desk this time who seemed to know why we were charged. WE WERE CHARGED FOR LAST MONTH randomly two weeks later in February without being told. We were frustrated and all the employee told us was "sorry but you were misinformed when you signed up". They did nothing nor did they really even care honestly. They told us our card would get hit on March 10th (another two weeks later) for the month of march fee as well (keep in mind we were originally told the 4th). So with that, we decided we were going to cancel our membership before the 10th because we lost trust and could find a much better deal at another gym. My fiancé went in to cancel on the 7th and spoke with Taj, and Taj said he would take care of it. MY CARD WAS HIT ON THE 10TH still and I was charged ANOTHER round of membership fees. I called and spoke with another employee today after seeing my card was hit, and all she said was that management had to take care of it and to call back and ask for Amanda in two days when she is there. So nothing was solved right away. I was told management probably got busy and didn't get to it. Really wasn't even told sorry. We are not cheap people whatsoever, but this is an absolute joke. In the span of ONE MONTH we have paid close to 300 dollars for this. Employees really can't rely on management to take care of things promptly or get back to their customers, which is really frustrating coming from a hospitality background. Not only was I told to just call back on Monday, I wasn't guaranteed I would be refunded for the month of march even though we had gone in to cancel, and now I just have to sit here waiting to deal with it. Beyond disappointed in this place and I'm never ever going back to 24 hour fitness.
