writing this because i have never been so unhappy with a supplier. i should've just gone with my instinct and stuck with tuner motorsports. purchased a clutch kit with a flywheel for our bmw 135i. called ACT and they told us we might get a better rate with summit. ordered through summit and turns out they drop ship from california which is where ACT is located. so now I'm saving money on shipping which is good. spoke to a CSR rep and asked if it can go out that day. he said of course, summit ships till 10pm. made an appointment with our mechanic to get the clutch and flywheel in for the weekend because shipping from california to california only takes a day within the zones. well turns out our clutch went out the next day... which was friday and we wouldn't get it until monday. rearranged our schedule, took a day off work.. got the flywheel and clutch on a monday, went to see our mechanic on a tuesday. after getting the transmission out.. turns out the flywheel doesn't fit, as our car has 6 bolts and not 8. the sales person i ordered from said it would fit and on the website it shows that its the correct fitment for our car. complete hassle. i had to drive to clutch masters in rialto, ca to get the right flywheel and it turns out the ACT doesn't even make a flywheel for our car. pretty disappointing. customer service is rude and doesn't even sound like they give a rats ass. super unprofessional.. after this experience, i will gladly spend the extra $200-$300 more that turner would have charged, but at least they have some customer service sense and treat you like a normal human being that actually understands your frustration.
