  • A large group of us (approximately 25+) went to Spirithouse for a friend's birthday. I had never been, but was told that we had a reservation and had to be there prior to 10:00pm or we would lose it. Organizing that many people is always insane, and we didn't arrive until 10:15pm. The hostess graciously accepted our apologies and lead us to our large booth on the west side the bar. It was nice to FINALLY go to a place that gives you a decent size booth for your reservation! Our waiter, Michael, came by and was very patient with all of us, which is a difficult task I tell ya! He was great (and an opera singer to boot!), and the vibe of the place itself was nice; not overly pretentious, the ambiance was warm and the crowd was classy and surprisingly friendly. The typical "end of a bar night" mass receipt surfaced, as they couldn't split the bill, but that's always a given. Overall, a great experience and definitely a spot I'll check out again!
