I have to say that I was so excited to see their ad flash by on facebook. It looked so unique that I had to click on it. I thought the 1920's theme was so cute. The prices on the website also looked reasonable. I know that the prices out west are a lot more expensive than the east, but when moving to Scottsdale I was floored by the outrageousness of this city!! The prices were insane. So then I started thinking, it probably would not be a bad idea to check out the surrounding cities such as Tempe, Chandler and Mesa. I was not disappointed when I walked into Sasseaze. The decor is so beautiful and unique and the website does not do it enough justice. I don't go to the salon for the decor, but the reason I mention this is that it is very unique, and by far a comforting atmosphere. Most of the salons I find around here are too upscale and pretentious and honestly that makes me so uncomfortable. I end up feeling like I don't even have the right to be in there.
Kiana was my stylist and I was so excited to get her, but then again all of you rated different stylists and that is a real good sign that you can't really go wrong here. Kiana was sooooooooooo cool and nice. I love to talk and it helps that she was the same. She has a great personality and great taste in music I might add....I hate it when I get a stylist that I don't click with personality wise. I felt like Kiana read my mind as far as my color and hair cut. I really couldn't be happier. I set my next appointment to go back there. This is definitely worth the ride out of Scottsdale where you are apparently paying for the name of the town.
