| - Colon hydrotherapy has been on my to-do list for years, but after having 2 kids, and having liver gallbladder issues, I finally realized I needed to take a more active role in creating better overall health.
The new location in Tempe is just the right amount of cozy and comfortable. I took my shoes off nearly as soon as I walked in, just because I felt so at ease. After I filled out some paperwork, Cori and I chatted a bit. I have to say, I love anyone in the healthcare world whose focus is to help your OVERALL health. Nothing quite compares to real conversation, delving into how our bodies process stress and emotions. It's important to realize that there is no quick fix, but that you're peeling away layers of your unhealthy lifestyle, and that requires periodic maintenance as your body purges and detoxes.
Cori uses an open system that you essentially do on you own, which is actually quite nice as it gives you privacy and allows you to relax without distraction while the colonic does its job (as well as the peace of mind knowing no on is looking at your bum lol). She gives you a brief tutorial about what to expect and what you will need to do, but then she leaves and allows you to get comfortable. She checked in a couple times to make sure all was going well, and then at the end gave direction on how to get up and clean up.
All in all, it was a lovely experience, and I have scheduled my next appointment. I will be excited to see how things progress, and will be passing her business name along to my chiropractor, my husband and my friends. My only regret is not having done this sooner!
