  • Mod Club doesn't book the greatest talent but if you're lucky you might find a band you enjoy. They mostly showcase local Toronto bands and the occasional touring band I came here to see Tennis an indie pop band from Denver who made a stop in Toronto on their tour. I'v been into Tennis for a while and it was nice to see them at a relatively intimate venue (capacity is about 600). The sight lines to the stage were good, and I was right up front. The sound was pretty good, nice and clean with no technical issues Washrooms are beside the stage and downstairs, a bit of a maze to find them, but when I got there, they were clean and well maintained. Bar staff and security were efficient and friendly, at actually getting people inside. Mod Club is a decent venue and I'd definitely see another band here.
