I rescued the love of my life here so I have to love the place however the level of service you get when you come here is truly hit or miss. Most of the volunteers are friendly however the staff that works there can be another story. Personally I would love to quit my job and work with animals all day!
I understand that they get a lot of dogs each day but I truly feel as though the kennels could be better kept. Overall the grounds aren't bad but the area is a bit sketchy.
The process for adopting is fairly easy and they partner with some major companies which is how I got my pup here for free, microchip, spay, and everything included.
I love that they update their website pretty frequently throughout the day with the new animals they get in so before you make the trip out if you see a four legged friend that catches your eye you can give them a call and know the kennel number before arriving. Their website also lists the locations of the dogs because not all are at the shelter, some are at Petsmart.
Overall, I'm a supporter of the Animal Foundatoon and wish it continued success. Before buying, look at adopting! They have fantastic deals all throughout the year! :)
