Really cute spot on the edge of old town that we have wanted to try for a while. The patio looks like it would be great for cooler weather. We came here for my boyfriends birthday with a group of about 9. The waitress was kind enough to put the cakes in the fridge for us but that is where her pleasantries ended. She seemed very annoyed that we were taking so long to decide and was irritated when we asked for a refil, some ranch and actually said? "you really need more....?" when my boyfriend asked for more lemons for his schnitzel. I'm assuming her service was so shitty because she had the automatic gratuity added to the bill due to our large party because there were only two other tables filled in the whole joint.
The food is no where near authentic and I thought the fries were too greasy and all the sauces just tasted weird. The schnitzel was flavorless and the gravy was horrible!! My schnitzel sub was very bland and greasy but the bread was decent. Someone got a brat that was actually really good and had awesome sauerkraut.
To sum it up, stick to beer or a brat if you come here. Not at all a German resteraunt.
