I have never personally visited the location, but my 13 yr old daughter just did. I sent money to her via MoneyGram. She has a school ID and American Express with her picture on it, but was told by Tatiana that she must have a California ID to retrieve money. She's a minor you Twit! My daughter attends boarding school in AZ so I called two managers to ask for assistance. I first spoke with Tray who took too long to resolve things and then Kerry who eventually got things taken care of through a call to MoneyGram. The ordeal took 40 minutes. My daughter had a 1 hour time frame to shop. I felt like common sense should have dictated how this situation was handled. I sent money from California to a minor. She had picture ID and school staff available, if necessary, to verify her identity. How many minors carry state issued ID? Luckily the situation was resolved to my satisfaction, but Geez! Never again.
