  • My favorite guitar store, period! Since I found them in 2011, I've come in once or twice a month. I've bought about 10 guitars and 3 or 4 amps in that time. But even if I'm not buying, I walk out knowing more than I did when I walked in: Phil is a great player, extremely knowledgeable about the music industry, and loves to share what he knows with his customers. Check out his fantastic video series on YouTube. But the real appeal of the store is the laid back, no pressure vibe. For some that might be used to the big store experience of harried salespeople hustling to try and make their rent, McKnight Guitar Co might feel a little different. Shauna will make sure you are happy when you buy merchandise. Want to bring in your gear to hear how a guitar sounds? No problem. Want to try every chorus pedal on the shelf until you find the right one? Go for it. Want to trade in that guitar you thought was so cool three months ago on a new one that you gotta have? She'll give you top value for your trade, no sweat. Be sure to check out the website too. Occasionally they put some amazing gear on sale there!
