| - I could not agree more with my fellow Yelper Vlad S. The service is horrible except there is one customer service rep named JOLENE, who is absolutely amazing, and tries her level best to help customers; she usually works at the printing/copying department or the till
Let me elaborate a little, I was there to do some self copying, so I walk in there was this lady working at the Printing department on 26-09-2014, 8AM shift, I say good morning, she says nothing, so I asked if she could check my balance on my staples card, she stated, very rudely you can check at the machine, In my head I am like I know that but if I am at zero balance than I have to go back to the counter and wait for her or stand in line.
anyway so I try to check my balance at the copier, it says something along the "cannot give reading or something", So I go back and of course I have to stand in line now, she finishes with up a customer, and then goes back to other side, seeing that I was standing there, So I was like excuse me the machine is not giving out any reading. She "Rolls her eyes " comes to the counter and says maybe the machines are not turned on, still would not check at the counter. walked me down with her turned all the machine on, she forgot to turn them on before,( no sorry or anything ) tells me I have like $3.00 bucks, So I am like oh that's enough for the job I have to do thank you.
After doing couple I realized I needed to do copy of multiple sets, I knew it was possible, but just did not know how to feed the machine so it will copy sets or you, I . So I went back to her said, could please tell me how can do multiple sets, she goes "just put it in" so I was like i did and it just printed blanks, she literally "Rolls her eyes again" So I was like I really don't know that's why I am asking you, you can just tell me how, you don't have to show me, so she says follow the arrow on the machine.
I figured it out, then of course I got stuck doing Ids both side on the same page, So then Thank god I saw Jolene working at the cash, I was like could please help me, the lady at the printing department is getting irritated if i ask her a question, Now Jolene asked, what are you trying to do, after telling her, she came out of the register area, walked with me, set it up for, showed me what to do if it resets, and did the first copy for me. I was like Wow! now that's service. SO I GIVE HER 5 STARS
It was like Night and day, I really appropriated her help , I shook her hands and thanked her, and also she had helped me numerous times before as well, when she does work at the printing department
PS. I know I was at the self serve deparment, and to be honest I wouldn't mind paying them so do my work, but do a print a page from a USB drive the ask for an hour for full service. I just don't have that kind of time floating around, So Staples Store manager please hire more kind and polite people like JOLENE because she Rocks!
