rev:text	You'd be crazy to even try this place out! Where do I even start.. We got into a fender bender on July 4th weekend (I'm sure we weren't the only ones) we called the towing company and was referred to Excel Auto Body so instead of taking the car home we decided to take it in to their shop. The shop was closed so the owner decided to meet us there to leave the car over the weekend, my first question was how much? (as everyone's should be!) he gave us the run arounds and told us we'd hear from them on Monday, We didn't get a phone call til Tuesday! Then the secretary kept making excuses on why it was no longer a 'free estimate', charged us for a teardown (when I didn't consent to taking the car apart), and making it sound like my car was in bad shape even though she didn't know jack shet about what needed to be done! More insulting, one of their shop guys offered me 1000 to get it off my hands! Knowing well enough that the cost to repair was NOT $5200 worth! (I should add my boyfriend KNOWS And WORKS on cars!) My opinion, they tried to jack up cost of repairs so they could make it seem like it wasn't worth it so id be willing to sell it to their employee. I was furious! And my reviews aren't stopping here! On the plus, we took the car to ABC Auto Body and they paid for the towing cost and told us they don't even know how Excel quoted us at $5200 when it was only a $2500 repair!! Go elsewhere! The only reason I gave a star is because yelp requires you to!
