The idea behind this gym is great - bare bones fitness centre at rock bottom price.
There are lots of machines, weights and free weights but there aren't change rooms, showers or classes which is fine.
The main problem for me is that nobody puts away their free weights and they are left lying around and the weight room is extremely messy. Most times when I go in I feel like I spend a good amount of time putting things away, I can't stand to be around a mess. This is also a safety hazard and the staff members should be putting things away on an hourly basis if they are not going to enforce putting weights back.
Also I do not feel like the gym is cleaned very often as there is often piles of empty water bottles on the ground and dust everywhere. The machines are not taken care of very well either. Since this is owned by goodlife I would think that they would like to maintain their fitness centres even if this is a no frills type experience.
No water fountain in a gym? I understand they want people to purchase water from them but that is also a safety concern as dehydration can lead to significant issues for people working out.
