rev:text	I did Happy Hour here 3pm on a Friday afternoon. The place was packed. The hostess told me it woud be a 20 minute wait since there were to be 5 in my party and offered me the patio. I kind of rolled my eyes at that one. I mean, August in Arizona on a patio with no misters? Really? Fortunately, I spotted a friend who had spotted a table that was just being cleaned. We nabbed it and the hostess was kind enough to bring another chair without our asking. Nice. Postino's itself is a small place. I wish it were larger as it is very popular. The music is much too loud for comfortable conversation, as well. After a chat with Shawn about the wine/beer list, we ordered. Friend had a merlot thst she relly enjoyed while I had a pinot grigio which disappointed. After viewing my attempts to like it, Shawn approached and offered me a different beverage. However, I was not staying long, so I declined. Ten minutes later, he returned with a bottle of beer I had mentioned was my favorite and whisked away the offending pinot. Is that AMAZING service or what? On to the food. Friends tried a bruschetta selection and the mozzarella/tomato/basil appetizer. While I am told the bruschetta was excellent, the mozzarella was bland. If not for the tasty pesto, she likely would not have finished it. Another word about the service. Although the place was packed, we were given attention from three servers, one of whom brought multiple orders of the pesto for my friend.That's attentive to the max. I give Postino East four stars for the stellar service and tasty bruschetta. I will likely be back when the temps cool a bit.
