Was looking to buy a brand new 2016 RDX in 2105 Oct/Nov timeframe. Worked with the rep and we both were about $500 apart. He decided to check with the management and advised if I can come half way we may have a deal. I sort of agreed. The manager came in and said we don't have a deal. In fact I had to pay about $1k more. I walked out as I hate that kind of "tricks". Eventually bought the vehicle at a much better price.
Was time for the first service and did at EM Acura. The second was due last week and went there again. The waiting area, the service staff are all OK. But was again advised that the vehicle just over a year old and we suggest a wheel alignment. I personally think that either the mechanic or the service advisor are paid bonuses or commissions. I refused.
The vehicle was serviced perfectly (I think). The vehicle was washed properly.
But thinking should I go there for the next service? Alternatives are plenty and are not as "pushy". The sales rep was amazing(would buy another vehicle from him in a heartbeat) but the sales managers, don't hold them in high regard.
