| - The DJ is alright. Nothing spectacular. Killed the mood a few times. The people I'm attendance are also very mediocre as far as friendliness and how approachable people are. The deck is really nice but small for the amount of people that come. Two things stood out to me the most:
1. There was one guy that worked there, a MEGA diva, that was SO RUDE. SO unbelievably rude. "Excuse me, honey. We are not your babysitting service. Buhbye," and shewed me away for asking where I could put my keys safely so that I could dance with my friends. Many things he said throughout the night rubbed me like 20 grain sandpaper.
2. I would not have given this place 2 stars if it weren't for the doorman security guy. He was so sweet, so fun to talk to, so willing to assist and seemed to be really well known. He would walk through the club to make sure everything was ok and people would jump up and hug him, talk to him, introduce him to their friends like he was genuinely a part of their lives. Also, I saw him kick a guy out for underage drinking and was on him like I've never seen. Dude takes his job seriously. The guy had literally just gotten his drinks from someone else and before he even took a sip, dude was dragged out the door. The security guy is older, grayed and on the heavy side. He was the highlight of my night.
Would I recommend Cruze? Maybe to people in Pittsburgh that have been here a while and just want to see the scene. I would not to someone just coming to town and wanting to check out the nightlife. Take them somewhere more inviting.
I'm not sure if I will go back. Maybe I'll just hang out with the doorman.
