  • This review is from our experience in March 2016. It is an added review from my daughter, Candice's in Jan, 2017. Everything my daughter explained in her review is extremely accurate. After finding out about the dress color issue, I called Anjolique myself. I stated there was NOT a misunderstanding on our part for what we were told on the colors the dress came in. Champagne and Ivory. She had tried the Champagne colored dress on. When we were ordering, I said not the champagne color. Also we were offered a free honeymoon trip if we purchased a particular amount, or designer. Once Candice called to get the details about the trip, it turns out it wasn't free after all. There were charges for all kinds of things. They basically offered a "free" trip that was nothing more than a scam. When I called the shop to discuss options for them ordering the wrong color, they tried to blame it on us. Candice never wanted a stark white dress, but that's what they ordered. When I called they seemed to not take responsibility, and hung up on me. Unbelievable! I called back and the phone when to voice mail. I left a message stating hanging up on a client isn't very good business and wanted a resolution that was not going to cost us more money. No return call. I called again and they wouldn't answer the phone. This boutique and their sales girls were less than friendly in trying to resolve this issue. We did end up buying another dress at a discounted price as they stated, but everything else they said about Candice's review (not to mention they didn't even spell her name right) was not true. She did NOT change her mind. We even had her bridesmaid there that could confirm our experience. Bottom line, initial experience was good with Miss Ann, but for them to say that she was out for surgery was a lie. I'm fairly certain, that Miss Ann would NOT have set up an appointment for a day she knew she was to have surgery. They were just trying to cover their own butt. We ended up taking her dresses and then had her second dress altered some where else completely. My advice...don't shop there. You can't trust them.
