  • Celebrity is kind of hard to rate and your experience there is really going to depend a lot on the entertainment you choose to see and how pleased you are with that. I have been to good concerts and walked away feeling like this was a five star venue. I have been to others and I hated it and vowed I would never be back. Pros -not a bad seat in the house and since the stage rotates you always have a good view -drinks are pretty reasonable for a venue (not reasonable in general, but compare it to say US Airways Center) -There are plenty of places to get concessions for such a small venue so the lines for them are never too bad. -The downstairs lounge is pretty cool before the show and it is fun to look around at the stuff displayed on the walls. -security does a great job here. I never feel harassed, but at the same time I have seen situations break out and they handle them ASAP. Cons -Parking. The last two times I went they had increased to $10 for parking. At this point I think they have the highest priced parking I pay for any venue in the valley and they have their own lot, so it is not even necessary. -Will call lines are ridiculous. If you have tickets at will call, plan to get there an hour early. -Security lines to get in take forever as well. My advice for this though is walk around a bit. They have quite a few entrances and you may be able to find a short line at one. People tend to follow the crowd. -The seats are small and uncomfortable. If I have general admission tickets I tend to go to the back to have more space, but sometimes it is unavoidable. -I wish they were in a better location where there were near by bars to have a drink and a bite to eat before or after the show close by. The last thing I wanted to include, but don't want to put it as a con, is there sound system is very inconsistent. I don't know if it is the sound men touring with the artists or what, but I have been to shows that have had great sound and pulled me out of my seat. Then I have been to others where I knew the artist and their songs and liked them, but left early because of how bad the sound was. Like I said if you really like who/what you are about to see then by all means go to this venue and you will have a great time, but if you are on the fence about the entertainment, you might want to stay home.
