| - Service Department is terrible, when AutoNation bought Brown and Brown Chevrolet, they lost alot of Service Advisors, and most of them are new, so don't be surprised if you call and your favorite Advisor is no longer working there.
I called on a Wednesday, to see if I could get in for a LOF, like I use to when it was Brown and Brown, and my Service Advisor Robert Rattner, allways told me to come on down we will get you in, well now I guess I have to make a appointment for an oil change. ( that won't happen again, I can get an oil change anywhere, without an appointment ) I also had a coupon 24.99 for LOF, trucks might have an additional charge, that must explain why my bill was almost 40.00, I was told my truck took an extra Qt. of oil, ok I get it, but are you trying to tell me that extra Qt. of oil cost 15.00 ?
Somehow during the so called "inspection" my windshield wipers got torn, they were NOT torn when I went in to AutoNation, I had just used them 2 days prior, also I think I would have noticed a 6" torn wiper blade laying across the drivers side of the windshield.( which is the same way it was delivered to me when the service was done)
After waiting in the waiting room for over 2 1/2 hours, and what I was expecting to be a $25-$30 oil change like it use o be with Brown and Brown, I was approached with a long list of items I need for my 50k mile Avalanche, such as $20 new wipers, (of corse I need them, you guys ripped/tore them) $165 battery, $1026 for tires, (I wanted them rotated, but was told they were Dry Rotted, that's BS, my tires aren't that bad, took it to Discount and they rotated them for FREE, instead of wanting to charge me $20) $249 for a fuel system cleaning, which I thought was already done not to long ago ith B&B, $35 air filter, $130 P/S flush, my P/S works just fine, as I stated before I wanted a $25-$30 oil change like the coupon said, not $1700 in parts not including labor, GIVE ME A BREAK !
All in all, I was going to take my wife their for a new car, since her 02 Cavalier has 170k mi. on it, and she's due for a new car. We will not be buying from AutoNation!
