We'd wanted to try North Carolina style BBQ for a long time since we moved to the area. I knew this place from my co-worker and finally made it on Saturday lunch. It was packed, but we were seated right away since just two of us. First time here I could say that I was impressed with their food and services.
When you walk in, it is very cool and clean atmosphere. Good for family and friends. Staffs were super friendly and attentive. They kept checking on us.
Their menu is on point. You can also find that they have a lot of selection of beer. My fiance ordered the combo platter: the Pig out! You can choose 4 out of 5 kind of meat you want and 2 sides. It came out with a huge portion and good for 2-4 people! They have 2 different BBQ sauces; tomato based and vinegar based. Since we are from Texas, we never liked vinegar based. But at this place, we said yes!!I ordered salmon sammie. It was good but not the best. We loved their bacon wrapped jalapeno! The best we've ever had. Not too much cream cheese it's what we like. For the sides, we loved sweet potato fries and hush puppies. They were just delicious.
There are plenty of parking spots in the back of the restaurant. We'd love to come back again!!!
