This place is so slimy I felt like I needed to take a shower after dealing with their garbage. I was interested in selling one of my bikes. They seemed equally interested in buying it. I drove it over and started to review it with one of their sales people (should have been a sign). This bike is older but has under 2k miles.
At first, the associate was very enthusiastic about the condition of the bike and the low miles. Then the absolute scumbag show ensued. He went from admiring how new the tread on the tires looked to a 10 minute, clearly scripted, monologue about the age of the tires. This is old school used vehicle dealer crap. I told the associate I already had an offer and reviewed all the reputable sites.
Next, they proceeded to spend nearly 2 hours "appraising" the bike. Somehow during that time, the check oil and check engine lights came on. So now we have "old tires" and conveniently, active service lights. The offer was $1k less than the online wholesale offer I received. I wanted to develop a long-term relationship with a local dealer because I have other bikes. My review is not about the low ball offer. It is about the way they conduct business. Also, Chandler Harley shares the same ownership, one can only assume similar business practices.
